We've been working on our back garden recently, giving it a sorely needed clearing-up, and I am sincerely hoping we don't find anything quite this drastic waiting for us in the undergrowth! You never know, though. I mean, these things always seem to start in the most innocuous of places, don't they? Charming little villages, rural towns, spots that are generally tucked away from the main population centres, at least until the situation spirals out of control. On a much less ominous note, check out HOPE by WynautWarrior to see a cameo appearance by Tom Dobermann, Junior!

CALL FOR GUEST ART & COMICS!

We are still accepting guest art and comics to begin posting from 24th July to early September. The only rules are that they relate to Barkham Horror, be family friendly (e.g., no strong language or graphic imagery), and in the case of comics, no longer than three pages. You can send your submissions to us through direct messaging at our Facebook and twitter pages, private messaging on my ComicFury forum profile, or e-mail them to us an attachment at scottharris1988@gmail.com —— make sure to write "Barkham Horror Guest Art" in the subject line, and include the name you'd like to be credited by, and which site (be it a comic, art page, or social media page) you'd like us to link to!

Holy carp. I knew roses had thorns but goodness! Also, thanks for the shoutout!

Not a problem! It was absolutely wonderful to see Junior appear in your work. And yes, through personal experience I can certainly understand why poets like to use roses as imagery representing something beautiful but dangerous.

The foliage appears to have been planted by Lovecraft, very impressive

Glad you think so! I do consider myself to have green thumbs, and index fingers, and pinkies...it's grass stains, not alien DNA!
